any substance or mixture of substances meant for stopping, destroying or controlling any pest, including vectors of human or animal disease, undesirable species of crops or animals causing hurt throughout or otherwise interfering with the manufacturing, processing, storage, transport or advertising of food, agricultural commodities, wooden and wood products or animal feedstuffs, or substances which can be administered to animals for the control of insects, arachnids or different pests in or on their bodies.
