BMI View: A weak consumer outlook will limit growth in Slovenia's food and drink industry. A precarious
macroeconomic situation whereby high unemployment and weak wage growth contribute to poor domestic
demand underpins our outlook for the sector. As purchasing power increasingly comes under pressure, we
expect consumers to favour economically priced goods- particularly private label goods.
