Inquire Before Buying

North America had the highest refining capacity under maintenance globally (including both planned and unplanned) in Q2 2016, followed by Asia. Among countries, Japan had the highest refining capacity under planned maintenance, followed by the US and India. The US, Ecuador and Czech Republic were the only three countries affected by unplanned maintenance in the quarter. Among operators, ExxonMobil Corporation, Reliance Industries and TonenGeneral Sekiyu K.K. were the top three globally in terms of total refining capacity under maintenance. Power outage was the most common cause of unplanned maintenance in North America, while water shortage caused the most unplanned maintenance in Asia during Q2 2016.

Scope

  • Analysis of capacity under maintenance for crude distillation, coking, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrocracker, hydrotreater and reformer units

  • Comparison of select refinery units under maintenance (including both planned and unplanned) by major regions in the world, PADD regions in the US and operators for Q2 2016 and Q2 2015

  • Comparison of select refinery units under planned maintenance by major regions in the world, PADD regions in the US and operators for both the quarters

  • Comparison of select refinery units under unplanned maintenance by major regions in the world, PADD regions in the US and operators for both the quarters

  • Comparison of factors responsible for unplanned maintenance in the world by region for Q2 2016 and Q2 2015

Reasons to buy

  • Keep abreast of major refinery units (crude distillation, coking, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrocracker, hydrotreater and reformer) undergoing maintenance across the world

  • Obtain information on region-wise maintenance across the world for Q2 2016 in comparison with Q2 2015

  • Identify and compare PADD regions and operators with highest maintenance in both the quarters
